Background

A UK based pizza chain approached us for help with their corporate strategy and growth plans.

Trading from twenty-six locations, they were losing money in five locations and year on year sales were in decline.

Unable to raise finance because of the losses from the under performing locations, they were unable to invest in the other sites and sales there were also starting to suffer.

Morale was low and staff turnover high.

Solution

Victorum worked with the management team and approached the landlords of the loss making locations about surrendering the leases.

When they refused, Victorum worked with the company attorneys to put together a CVA (Company Voluntary Arrangement).

This was completed and resulted in the exiting of the under performing locations.

Victorum then worked with the management team on raising new finance and a full turnaround plan - which included new branding, refurbishments and the acquisition of a new location.
